I SLEEPWALKER - Auflösung
Die Harvest Earth Records Band gibt ihre Auflösung bekannt, Keyboarder Michael Gray schreibt: "I, Sleepwalker has decided to call it quits. It is after much thinking (much much thinking) that we have decided that this is not the best route for us at this time. As many of you know we haven't even set foot on stage since July 21st, 2007 in Houston Texas. So maybe this doesn't come as such a big surprise to you who noticed. First and foremost I do want to let you all know that we are playing one last show on July 26th at the One Way Cafe in Barbourville KY. If that isn't enough to get you out there, then maybe the fact that A Plea For Purging is playing as well could.
I just wanted to let everyone know that this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. We've been actively playing shows from February of 2006 until July of 2007 and accomplished so much more than we ever thought that we would. I've been able to meet so many amazing people and would be glad to know that even one of those people was positively effected by our music. The Lord has blessed us in so many ways with Harvest Earth Records signing us and getting to play with so many amazing bands that we all respect and love. I just can't get over how much we managed to get done in such a short time and how five other guys became some of my best friends in life, but alas there is always a new page in the book and God is always directing people as he sees fit.
I just want to thank everyone who has helped us out along the way, Ryan and Kevin from Harvest Earth have been the absolute best through all of this (the good and the bad). Words can not express how in debt we are to those guys. Al of our families have been supportive the entire time and girlfriends who put up with more than could really be expected haha. All of the great bands that we played with over the time we were together (there were a lot and each of them meant a lot to us), all of the venues and promoters who allowed us to play, and each person who allowed us to spend the night at their house and give us a chance to take a shower. Also the people over at Peavey for hooking us up with awesome amplification. All the guys in the Showdown and War Of Ages for really helping us out and thanks to Jeremiah Scott for making our cd sound great. Some of the bands I feel should be brought up are Anapparatus, Chasing Victory, the Mosaic, Kiss the Gunner, A Plea For Purging, Beneath The Sky, Powerman 5000, A Call To Preserve, Seventh Star, Maylene And the Sons Of Disaster, Burden Of A Day, and I'm sure there's a thousand others that I have left off and for that I apologize.
I just want to let you all know that this isn't the end for us all in music, I'm sure that you will see most, if not all, of our faces back in bands sooner rather than later and we'll keep you up to date. Thanks for everything."
