Die griechische Metal Band hat den ersten Videoclip zu ihrem anstehenden neuen Album "Astron Black And The Thirty Tyrants" exklusiv auf www.metalblade.com veröffentlicht.
NIGHTFALL Sänger Efthimis Karadimas kommentiert den Clip wie folgt:
"The story depicted is inspired by the Greco-Persian wars in the 5th century BC. The video is purely based on the ancient technique of Shadow Puppet Theatre evolved and widely used in different areas of the world eons ago. Every character, ship, map, etc you see in it has been built from scratch especially for that motion clip. The video has been directed by Achilleas Gatsopoulos, a prominent master of visual arts, based in the city of Berlin. I am sure you haven't seen anything similar around!"
Die Band selbst bezeichnet "Astron Black And The Thirty Tyrants" als das bislang beste NIGHTFALL Album und erhöht so die Erwartungen ins Unermessliche: "We have worked hard and we've put lots energy and effort in the details of the production. The outcome is massive and believe can attract any metal fan's attention."
Das Albumartwork stammt von niemand geringerem als Travis Smith (Opeth, Death, Nevermore, Katatonia a.o.). Die Scheibe wurde an verschiedenen Orten aufgenommen, wobei das deutsche Soundlodge Studio als Zentrale fungierte. Produziert wurde es von Efthimis Karadimas ("Athenian Echoes") und Jörg Uken (God Dethroned, Dew Scented, Sinister u.a.) als Co-Produzent.Der 43-minütige 12-Tracker erscheint in Europa am 27./30.
