NIRVANA - Nevermind ReRelease geplant mit unveröffentlichen Songs

Wie www.slicingupeyeballs.com berichten, soll am 27. September das ReRelease zum 1991er Album "Nevermind" von NIRVANA erscheinen. Neben den bekannten Songs soll es auch eine DVD geben mit einem Konzert an Halloween 1991 und weiterem bisher unveröffentlichten Material.
So soll der Inhalt genau aussehen:
"According to the label, the box set includes "literally dozens of previously unreleased recordings, obscure B-sides, alternate mixes, radio sessions, studio rarities and live recordings."
Among the features of the expanded Nevermind:
Universal also will release a slimmed-down 2CD Deluxe Edition and a 4LP 180-gram vinyl edition that each feature 40 tracks, which include the remastered album, the B-sides, the Smart Studio demos, the "boombox" rehearsals and the BBC sessions.
As for DVD in the Super Deluxe Edition, it will include all four of the official Nevermind videos, plus the previously unreleased Halloween concert. According to Universal, that performance was transferred from 16mm film and multi-track audio and is the only known Nirvana concert shot to film. It will be available in 1080p hi-def with uncompressed 5.1 Surround sound."
Among the features of the expanded Nevermind:
- Original album fully remastered, plus the accompanying studio and live B-sides
- First full release of the pre-Nevermind demos recorded at Vig's Smart Studios in Wisconsin
- "Boombox recordings" of early band rehearsals, which include early versions of "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Come As You Are," "On a Plain" and more
- The Devonshire Mixes, the full album as produced and mixed by Vig, as opposed to the more polished, commercially released version that was produced by Vig and mixed by Andy Wallace
- A pair of previously unreleased BBC recordings
- Full concert recorded at Seattle's Paramount Theatre on Oct. 31, 1991, on both CD and DVD
- A 90-page book "full of rarely and never before seen photos, documents and various other visual artifacts of the Nevermind era."
