TIM LAMBESIS - Neue Kautionsanhörung und AS I LAY DYING sagt Tour mit KILLSWITCH ENGAGE ab

Am heutigen Freitag findet eine neue Kautiosnanhörung im Fall Tim Lambesis statt. Der Sänger wird beschuldigt den Mord an seiner getrennt lebenden Frau in Auftrag gegeben zu haben. Die komplette Geschichte lest ihr hier.
Aktuell beträgt die Kautionshöhe satte drei Millionen US Dollar und Lambesis Anwälte wollen dies neu verhandeln. Weiterhin unterstellt sein Anwalt Anthony Salerno, dass die ganze Sache eine Inszenierung der Strafverfolgungsbehörden sei und sein Mandant unschuldig ist:
"Tim never had the intention to harm his wife, absolutely not. This whole thing was a set-up by a scumbag snitch, and then law enforcement ran with it... Tim will have his day in court, and when he does he will be exonerated because a jury will see that in his heart Tim is a good, decent and Christian human being."
Zeitgleich wurde auch die geplante Tour von AS I LAY DYING mit KILLSWITCH ENGAGE abgesagt. Die Band kommentierte das wie folgt: "In light of recent events, As I Lay Dying will unfortunately not be taking part in the upcoming tour with Killswitch Engage. Given the circumstances, we feel that it is best for the band to be off the road while the current situation gets sorted. We'd like to thank all of our fans for their ongoing support at this difficult time."
