WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH - Ausblick auf 2010, neuer alter Song online

Die Berliner haben auf ihrer MySpace Seite ein Update mit dem Ausblick auf das neue Jahr gepostet und weiterhin einen neuen (alten) Song online gestellt. Bei dem Track handelt es sich um "Uptown girl..." der für ein Japan Release im vergangenen Sommer neu aufgenommen wurde. Den Stream könnt ihr auf www.myspace.com hören.
Die Band schreibt:
"well... where am i supposed to start with all the things we have on our minds and in the works for the next year?
a lot of things are up and coming, that's for sure...and i'm not talking about new myspace layouts and bullshit like that, or what ever someone else is trying to sell as relevant "news" to you. nope, i am talking about major things, things with substance. and we will reveal those to you piece by piece through the coming months.
so, more than ever, we need you to stay tuned. i know it's hard to do that nowadays. there are so many bands out there and they all twitter the shit out of each other...and the hell out of you. i know, we are using those tools as well, so i'm not trying to teach you with nothing but double standards. it's just annoying to use millions of platforms to actually spam people with more or mostly even less useful information. and i guess the actual fan is overstimulated by those informations. so the end result may be that this actual fan is losing track of the important things and news - the stuff he really cares about.
to cut a long story short...we won't spam with you useless information in 2010. all we have to say and everything we are trying to spread the word about will be relevant. all we ask you to do is to stay tuned. deal? ;) so if you havn't made it that far through that news post, we might have lost you somewhere on the way anyways, hahaha...
well...we feel that this is the right way to go. it's not a big thing though, but it's time to quit all the useless status-updates and tweets (or what ever those things are called, i don't even know how to use twitter myself, haha). it's time to get nothing but the important news and updates to you, because in the end that is what's important to you and all that matters.
anyways, let's kick off with some real news now:
first off we will upload a new old song on jan 1st!!! we re-recorded our classic track "uptown girl..." in summer this year and it has been released on a split cd that's a japan-exclusive. so we can only share the music with you through myspace at the moment, and that's what we will do. jan 1st, everyone...keep that in mind!!!
we are also working to get a website done, finally, and will reveal a lot of those mentioned major updates, informations and news through that website, once it's online. i hope it's done before we're leaving for our tour with arsonists get all the girls, salt the wound and a plea for purging in early february, but more info on that can be found by going here!!! it's just time for that website, something that's 100% us and 0% advertisement.
so...have a happy new year everyone! thx for your support through the past year and beyond that, thank you for coming to the shows and having a good time with us. we will see you in 2010!
