Die epische Doom-Band BELOW hält sich momentan in den schwedischen Sonic Train Studios bei Andy La Rocque (King Diamond) auf und nimmt dort ihr erstes Album für Metal Blade Records auf. BELOW stammen aus Schweden und verarbeiten in ihrer Musik Einflüsse von späten Black Sabbath, Candlemass und King Diamond, was u.a. die Wahl des Produzenten Andy La Rocque erklärt.
Die Band bringt uns auf den neuesten Stand:
"The progress of the recording of our debut album is going great and to have the opportunity to work with Andy La Rocque and Olof in Sonic Train Studios is amazing. We are currently finished recording the drums, the bass and the main guitars, and will start with the vocals this weekend. It sounds amazing already. It will be a truly epic album that will leave its mark in the history of doom."
Produzent und Gitarrist des legendären King Diamond Andy La Rocque fügt hinzu: "This is one of the heaviest bands I have worked with in the studio for a very long time, and the sounds so far is amazing! And always great to work with great musicians!"
Viel ist über den schwedischen Fünfer noch nicht bekannt. In ihren Reihen wissen sie Tobias Rosén - Bassist ihrer Labelkollegen NOCTUM - von Howlin' Owl Productions.
