Die österreichische Death Metal Band hat ihre kommende Tour absagen müssen, aufgrund einer "ernsthaften und schweren Operation" von Sänger Helmuth Lehner. Die Band hat zu diesem Umstand folgendes Statement online gestellt:
"We have to inform all friends and supporters of Death/Black Metal titans Belphegor that all activities are stopped since the end of September. Frontman/founding member Helmuth Lehner went through a serious and difficult operation 16 days ago, after the South American tour. As result of this, Belphegor has to cancel all shows until May 2012. Thanks for all your support and understanding. We will keep you up to date on his condition in the following weeks."
