Das Label expandiert weiter und ist nun auch in Japan vertreten. Dort stehen Daymare Recordings und Alliance Trax hinter DEATHWISH JAPAN, zwei der wichtigen Labels dort drüben.

DEATHWISH INC. schreiben dazu: "What this means? Better distribution, availability, and visibility of our releases and better Japanese tour opportunities for our affiliated artists. The Japanese aggressive music community has been extremely supportive of Deathwish since our inception, and we are stoked to finally be able to properly bring our world of releases to Japan. This really is a dream come true for all of us at DW/Malfunction, and we couldn't be happier about the expansion."
